Top 40 ASI Promotional Products Distributors

The promotional products industry’s competitive landscape has shifted significantly since the pandemic-era rankings. The most current publicly available ASI distributor ranking is the Counselor Top 40 Distributors 2025, which measures 2024 North American promotional products revenue. In this latest edition, 4imprint holds the No. 1 position with $1.34 billion in promo sales, followed by HALO Branded Solutions at $964.7 million and Staples Promotional Products at $924.1 million.

One of the biggest stories behind the new ranking is consolidation. ASI noted that major acquisitions reshaped the list, and one of the clearest examples is iPROMOTEu, which jumped to No. 8 after acquiring former Top 40 distributor AIA Corporation in 2024. ASI described that deal as one of the largest distributor M&A transactions in the industry, with the combined organizations having reported more than $365 million in 2023 revenue.

1.1 Top 40 ASI Distributors: Company-by-Company Overview

The Top 40 ASI Promotional Products Distributors in 2025

The top of the market is now led by a mix of large e-commerce players, network-based distributors and enterprise-focused promotional partners. 4imprint remains the scale leader, while HALO, Staples, Proforma and Custom Ink round out the top five. Notably, Proforma rose to No. 4 with $662.0 million in 2024 sales, overtaking Custom Ink, which remained flat year over year at $650.0 million.

Further down the list, several firms posted standout growth. iPROMOTEu recorded the biggest jump among upper-tier distributors, rising 75.8% year over year. Stran Promotional Solutions increased promo sales by 39.0%, Smart Source grew 33.2% in its first Top 40 appearance, and The Sourcing Group debuted after expanding 21.7%. ASI attributed Smart Source’s rise in part to its acquisition of Kaye-Smith and several multimillion-dollar BPO wins, while The Sourcing Group benefited from double-digit organic growth and the acquisition of Drew & Rogers.

The updated ranking also shows that scale alone does not guarantee uniform growth. Geiger advanced to No. 10 after posting 10.4% growth, American Solutions for Business rose to No. 12 on 8.0% growth, and Cintas climbed to No. 14 with an 8.2% gain. At the same time, companies such as IMS, Boundless, Deluxe/Safeguard, Zorch, Quality Logo Products and ePromos posted declines, illustrating how uneven demand remained across channels and client segments.

Another clear trend is that the current Top 40 is more fluid than the older pandemic-era ranking. Several companies that appeared prominently in earlier lists are no longer present in the same form, while newer names such as Leader Promotions, The Sourcing Group, Smart Source and Eagle Promotions have entered or re-entered the ranking. That turnover reflects a market increasingly shaped by acquisition strategy, diversified service offerings and operational scale.
